When Zack’s first wife, Lydia, suggests opening their marriage, little did he know at the time that it would be the beginning of the end. However, Freya, Lydia’s recently divorced friend, calls Zack out of the blue to tell him that Lydia only wanted to open their marriage to hide her affair.
With his marriage to Lydia disintegrating, Zack finds himself becoming closer and closer to Freya, and a mutual attraction develops between them. As his relationship with Freya quickly escalates, they know they can’t be together until Zack divorces Lydia.
It doesn’t become easier when Lydia’s affair ends horrifically and she tells Zack she is ready to close their marriage and start a family. But Zack has already fallen out of love with Lydia.
